China Jinmao has built a scientific and professional ESG governance framework from top to bottom, and formed a three-tier management and control mechanism of decision-making—management—execution.

Establishment of Scientific
and Professional ESG Governance Framework

China Jinmao has established an ESG governance framework with the Board of Directors as the top decision-making level, and the Board of Directors has authorized the establishment of an ESG Committee composed of directors and senior management. The ESG Committee assists the Board of Directors in comprehensively guiding and supervising ESG management. The ESG Committee consists of an ESG Working Group, which is composed of the liaison personnel of the functional centers, departments and offices of the Headquarters as well and the relevant departments of subsidiaries, and is responsible for comprehensively following up and implementing various ESG duties.

Supervise the ESG related matters of the Company

Review the ESG objectives, strategies and policies, assess and determine the ESG risks and opportunities related to the Company's business, and supervise and review the ESG performance of the Company.

Assist the Board of Directors to comprehensively guide and monitor ESG management, formulate and periodically review the ESG objectives, strategies and policies, comprehensively monitor the ESG risk management, major issues, target progress and other related work, review the Company's annual ESG report, and complete other matters authorized by the Board of Directors.

Execution

As the executing agency of ESG work, under the supervision and guidance of the ESG Committee, it carries out ESG objectives formulation and follow-up, policy formulation and improvement, information management and disclosure, internal and external communication, and comprehensively follows up and implements various ESG matters.
